Civil & Structural Engineering, Transport Infrastructure

((BST: 8:00 - 18:00 (Mon/Thurs) 8:00 - 16:00 (Fri)))

We are seeking a senior or lead Civil Engineering Technician to join our team in London, United Kingdom. You will be working as part of a growing team of 8 civil professionals with a big focus on Civil Infrastructure projects of varying sizes in the residential sector.

As a key member of our Civil Engineering team, you will be responsible for working with Seniors, Associates, Graduates and Directors. You will be working predominantly on projects in the residential sector. As a Senior or Lead you will be working autonomously on Civil Infrastructure site development design including Surface water and Drainage network design, Site development drawings, road design and detailed draughting levels.

These sites are ranging from 200 – 2000 and will be involved in majority of detailed design phases of the projects. A successful Technician will have at least 8 years as a technician with all recent projects in the house building sector but not limited to.

Candidate Profile
  • 8 years minimum of experience as a Civil Technician with a focus on infrastructure design
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering infrastructure projects within a team
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software such as AutoCAD, Site 3D/Civil 3D. Beneficial if have experience with Drainage packages such as Microdrainage or Info drainage but not essential
  • Strong understanding and design capabilities for Section 278, S38, S104, S106 applications
  • Strong understanding of regulatory standards, codes, and guidelines related to infrastructure design and construction
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Hybrid working 2 days a week in the office

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • 37.5 hours working week
