Location: Greater London
The Role
As a BIM Engineer / Coordinator, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of high-quality 3D/BIM models across multidisciplinary teams. Working closely with stakeholders, external partners, A/E firms, and VDC teams, you will help ensure models meet defined standards, are delivered on time, and remain reliable throughout the project lifecycle.
This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong in Revit and Navisworks, enjoys structured delivery and QA/QC, and is comfortable working across multiple teams and work streams.
Key Responsibilities BIM Delivery & Model Coordination- Support the planning, tracking, and delivery of BIM and 3D model outputs
- Maintain model trackers, action logs, and deliverable schedules on a daily basis
- Support the creation of BIM delivery documentation (e.g. BIM Execution Plans)
- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and elevate where needed
- Work closely with project teams, external consultants, and design partners to ensure smooth model delivery
- Support coordination meetings, including agendas, follow-ups, and action tracking
- Help maintain alignment on model standards, scope, and delivery expectations
- Assist in workshops, model reviews, and milestone sessions to keep everyone on the same page
- Perform QA/QC of model uploads and highlight deviations ahead of key milestones
- Support tracking and validation of key deliverables, including:
- Revit family (RFA) checklists
- Model health checks
- CMMS sign-off readiness
- Work with teams to correct model issues and ensure compliance with agreed standards
- Use Navisworks Manage to support model coordination activities, including:
- Clash detection
- Model comparison
- Quantity take‑off
- Use Revit to create and maintain models aligned to owner standards, including:
- Layout models
- Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) families
- Use BIM
360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) to manage model repositories and support workflows for:- Issue tracking
- Drawing packaging
- Milestone reviews
- Use model translation tools (e.g. BIM‑DeX) to convert MCAD data for Revit use
- Support design integration by reviewing models for completeness, integrity and interface definition
- Assist with verification activities relating to function, fit, assembly and maintainability
- Produce reports, trackers and simple model user guides as required
- Experience working as a BIM Engineer, BIM Coordinator, or within a BIM delivery role
- Strong working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM
360/ACC - Comfortable working with multiple teams, consultants, and external partners
- Strong attention to detail, especially around QA/QC and model standards
- Highly organised with strong communication and documentation skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment
- MCAD experience (Solidworks / 3
DEXPERIENCE) is advantageous but not essential
