Key Responsibilities
  • Lead structured risk identification workshops with engineering and project teams.
  • Assess technical, safety, commercial, schedule and regulatory risks.
  • Develop and maintain qualitative and quantitative risk assessments.
  • Perform cost and schedule modelling using industry recognised tools.
  • Produce probabilistic forecasts and scenario analysis.
  • Validate assumptions and uncertainty with subject matter experts.
  • Develop and track mitigation strategies and action plans.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant project risk registers.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards and insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Coach teams and embed a proactive risk culture.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline.
  • Experience in nuclear, defence, energy or high hazard sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
  • Expertise in quantitative risk analysis and modelling.
  • Understanding of safety case and ALARP principles.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience on major infrastructure or EPC programmes.
  • Knowledge of project controls, cost and scheduling.
  • Stakeholder engagement and collaboration capability.
