Lab Technician, Alexandra, $2300 Basic, START ASAP

- 8.30am – 5.30pm (Monday – Friday)
- 1 year contract (Renewable)
- Performs functions associated with repairing, refurbishing, assembly/disassembly, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of various parts and equipment
- Engages in troubleshooting tasks to identify issues in non-operational equipment and executes equipment modifications as instructed by NPI engineers
- Maintains and optimizes equipment daily to enhance functionality and prevent problems
- Conducts repairs and maintenance activities related to manufacturing and assembly processes
- Adheres to established standards, ensuring data confidentiality, and supports execution of business processes with independent judgment
- Completes process‑oriented assignments, shares technical information, and supports department‑level proto‑operational plans
- Identifies and solves varied problems and completes day‑to‑day tasks with forward planning and minimal supervision
- Assist vendors setup of facility and GRE for proto setup
- Assist and support vendor for machinery landing
- Assist vendor and engineers in machinery /tooling install, assembly system debugging and commission
- Periodic maintenance and calibration of online and offline tooling/gages
- Audit tooling maintenance and calibration
- Operate and hands on machinery for proto build runs
- Engage and assist NPI Engineers on experimental builds, innovate and engineer new processes, new mfg technologies etc
- Spare management
- Maintain a master list containing OS version info, Anti virus version, IP, Backup and etc of all PCs deployed in proto environment
- Knowledge on Backup and Storage systems in order to Perform regular backup jobs, verify backup integrity and data recovery on various platform such as Windows OS, PLC systems, leak testers, Vision Systems and offline test equipment.
- Min a Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Microelectronics, or other related Engineering disciplines
- Inkjet or printer manufacturing experience, hands‑on experience in equipment assembly, system build, testing, preventive maintenance is a plus.
- Good technical troubleshooting skills and good observation skills
- Able to work independently while at same time team player
