2-Year Fixed Term Contract
We are recruiting for an experienced M&E Surveyor / Technical QA professional to support a major London-based asset data and compliance programme across a large residential property portfolio.
This is a technically focused role suited to someone with a strong mechanical and electrical background who understands building services assets and is confident reviewing survey outputs, checking data accuracy, and ensuring asset information is captured correctly to the required standard.
The role combines technical quality assurance, survey coordination, and support across survey delivery, with involvement in managing freelance surveyors working on the contract and assisting with recruitment as the programme grows.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and quality check M&E asset survey data across residential buildings
* Validate captured asset information for accuracy, completeness and technical consistency
* Review FSG coding and ensure assets are correctly classified
* Check survey submissions against required standards and reporting requirements
* Identify missing, inaccurate or inconsistent M&E asset information
* Verify condition, lifecycle and replacement data across mechanical and electrical systems
* Liaise with survey teams where corrections or clarifications are required
* Support the coordination and technical oversight of freelance surveyors on the contract
* Assist with onboarding, guidance and recruitment of additional freelance surveyors
* Help maintain delivery standards and support programme targets

Experience Required
* Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services
* Experience reviewing technical survey information or asset data
* Ability to interpret M&E asset schedules and coding structures
* Strong reporting skills and attention to detail
* Comfortable working across large volumes of technical information
