Compensation

Salary: up to £40,000 pa plus £500 per month Car Allowance and Annual Bonus.

• Lead performance optimisation initiatives by identifying cost‑saving opportunities and implementing plant improvements
• Partner with operations teams to upgrade equipment and optimise settings while securing strong supplier guarantees
• Develop business cases for recycling sector growth and create technical designs including PFDs, mass flow analyses, and facility layouts
• Coordinate design progression with stakeholders and evaluate plant/machine performance
• Ensure regulatory compliance and industry standard adherence
• Deliver clear technical communications through professional reports and presentations

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in engineering (Mechanical, Process, Industrial, or Electrical) or the waste management and recycling sector
• Proven track record in developing feasibility studies and business cases for projects
• Strong background in sorting/recycling processes and related industries
