Senior Electrical Estimator

The Opportunity

We’re working with an established international building services contractor with an annual turnover of circa £250 million, delivering complex mechanical and electrical packages across a range of high‑profile projects. Operating across the commercial, education, data centre, and aviation sectors, with project values typically up to £20 million, they are looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Estimator to play a key role within their London pre‑construction team.

• Lead the preparation of detailed electrical estimates from first principles.
• Review tender documentation, drawings, and specifications.
• Manage the full tender process from enquiry through to submission.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.
• Support and contribute to bid strategy and tender adjudications.
• Work closely with internal design, commercial, and delivery teams.
• Attend client meetings and tender interviews where required.

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within a building services contractor.
• Strong technical understanding of electrical systems and installations.
• Experience delivering tenders within commercial, education, data centre, or aviation sectors.
• Ability to lead tenders independently.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Relevant qualification or trade background.
