We are selective in the projects we take on and proactive in seeking where our exceptional engineering teams can make the most impact. We’ve doubled year‑on‑year since our founding in 2023, and we aim to do so again in 2026. That means we’re actively hiring across electronics, FPGA, mechanical, firmware, software, physics, HPC infrastructure, and Dev Ops – plus exceptional talent in any discipline.

We’ve seen several exceptionally strong physicists transition into excellent engineers y quickly picked up practical engineering skills on the job and made significant contributions across our projects.

For example, Sam joined straight after completing his MSc in physics, with limited practical engineering experience. He initially worked on modelling in Python, then built experience in electronics and firmware, learning to solder and write embedded code from scratch. He became the firmware resource on several projects, later taking on a line manager role and mentoring another engineer. Over the last three years, he has gained significant client‑facing experience, communicating technical details and collaborating externally, and developed strong technical and strategic judgement.

Last year, he upskilled in AI, hardware, and software stack through a project on securing AI infrastructure, and is now running our AI Verification stream.

Sam’s path reflects how quickly someone with strong fundamentals can become a highly capable, multidisciplinary engineer s “Physicists to Engineer” track encourages more candidates with this background to apply, but it is also open to anyone with similarly strong fundamentals and a desire to build real systems.

• A solid first‑principles understanding of the world. You know the basics of thermodynamics, kinematics, mechanics, etc.
• Familiarity with electronics, control systems, or physical system modelling.
• Interest in or experience in practical making – familiar with a toolbox.
• Programming competence in Python, C/C++, Type Script, React, Postgres.
