We need an innovative thinker who has deep expertise in digital engineering platforms, specifically Siemens NX and Teamcenter, and the ability to not just implement tools, but to strategically configure and deploy them in ways that fundamentally transform engineering workflows. Your background in industries such as defence, where precision and innovation are paramount, will be a significant advantage.

This role demands more than technical proficiency – it requires a consultant who can objectively lead and deliver work packages that demonstrate how advanced digital engineering tools can dramatically accelerate product development while generating measurable business outcomes. You will spearhead a team of engineers, enabling each to bring their skillsets to the task  will bring the ability to articulate and navigate the space between the needs of engineers and the capabilities of the toolset.

First and foremost, you will be an engineering expert, experienced across all aspects of the product development cycle. You will be able to seamlessly transition between deep technical conversations with frontline engineers and high-level project discussions with senior stakeholders.

1. Engineering experience (mechanical, manufacturing, electrical or similar)2. CAD software expertise (Siemens NX preferred), ideally across a range of applications and industries
3. Product lifecycle management (PLM) tools knowledge (Teamcenter preferred)4. Experience across multiple of the following areas:
1. Digital engineering transformation techniques
2. Systems integration understanding
3. Technical configuration of engineering tools
4. Performance optimisation of design processes
5. Data management and digital thread implementation
6. Advanced Engineering workflow design
