Senior Grid Delivery Manager, AWS (To be based in London, Dublin, Madrid or Frankfurt)

Responsible for delivering large-scale critical HV & MV grid interconnection projects within EMEA under tight deadlines. Requires high-level technical understanding of substations, cables and overhead lines and experience in managing projects from design to energization.

• Lead delivery of HV/MV grid interconnection projects across EMEA.
• Collaborate with design engineering, construction, planning, environmental and real‑estate teams to meet tight timelines.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and provide weekly reporting on risks and issues to senior management, director and vice‑president level.
• Drive the grid infrastructure delivery program, standardise processes, develop tools for delivery execution and support financial budgeting.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, construction management or a related technical field.
• 5+ years’ experience delivering HV & MV infrastructure projects/programs from design to energization.
• Experience building power substations with utilities and understanding their environment and culture.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Experience analysing cost/benefit trade‑offs across a portfolio and managing international teams is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

• Experience working in data centres or critical infrastructure.
• Master’s Degree (MBA/MS) and/or PMP certification.
• Experience designing substations or other energy infrastructure.
• Experience working for utilities or energy regulators.
• Ability to communicate in additional languages.
