About the Role As an Shift Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring maximum availability and reliability of production equipment across a modern manufacturing facility. Working within a highly automated environment, you will support operational performance through reactive maintenance, preventative maintenance strategies, continuous improvement initiatives, and equipment reliability projects.

Key Responsibilities Ensure maximum equipment reliability through:
Rapid response to breakdowns Effective fault diagnosis and repairs Preventative maintenance strategies Maintain compliance with:
Health & Safety procedures Environmental & Quality standards LOTO (Lock Out, Tag Out) Permit to Work systems Statutory requirements Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies including: TPM RCM RCA PDCA 5S Lead and contribute to reliability and efficiency improvement projects Collaborate closely with Operations teams to support a high-performance manufacturing culture Maintain accurate maintenance records within CMMS/SAP systems Support engineering and capital investment projects to ensure delivery within:
Budget Quality standards Project timelines Experience & Key Attributes Essential Minimum BTEC/NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline Strong multi-skilled engineering background with an electrical bias

Experience with in a manufacturing or production environment Strong fault-finding and root cause analysis skills Good IT literacy including MS Office and maintenance systems
