We are seeking talented Principal Mechanical Engineers to join our expanding teams in London and St Albans. We welcome professionals with diverse experience to contribute to our dynamic, global strategy and design consultancy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, building services engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in the design and construction of data centres, mission critical facilities, infrastructure projects, or large-scale industrial facilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of RIBA/BSRIA design stages and construction processes.
  • Experience in leading and managing the production and delivery of all aspects of mechanical design as part of a multidisciplinary design team.
  • Experience in sustainable design, including energy efficiency, renewable integration, and low‑carbon strategies for data centres and infrastructure.
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical technical design for all RIBA stages, including carrying out calculations, strategy development, project coordination, controls and commissioning, H&S and risk management and technical design delivery.
  • Experience in training and mentoring engineers.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in mechanical calculation software.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) or actively working towards chartership.
  • Experience in project financial management, administration and fee bids.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in the use of BIM software, such as Revit, Navisworks.
  • Experience in Design & Build (D&B) projects, collaborating with contractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
