My client is seeking a talented and motivated Building Physics Engineer to join their dynamic team. Whether you are at an intermediate or senior level, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of high‑performing, sustainable buildings with a strong focus on building performance analysis and environmental modelling.

- Reviewing project designs to ensure compliance with sustainability standards and regulations.
- Contributing to BREEAM assessments, including gathering evidence and supporting documentation.
- Staying up‑to‑date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in building performance and sustainability.
- Conducting building physics analysis, including energy modelling, thermal performance, and daylight assessments.
- Supporting design teams with performance‑driven strategies to enhance building efficiency and occupant comfort.
- Utilizing simulation tools to inform early‑stage and detailed design decisions.
- Providing input into BREEAM assessments, ensuring designs align with required credits and sustainability goals.
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and clients across a variety of projects to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
- A strong background in building physics, environmental engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in building performance modelling using tools such as IES, TAS, Rhino, Design Builder, etc.
- A solid understanding of UK building regulations and energy compliance requirements.
- Awareness of BREEAM, with either hands‑on project experience or strong theoretical knowledge.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret and communicate technical data effectively.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Experience contributing to BREEAM assessments.
- BREEAM Assessor qualification.
- Experience working across various project stages, from concept design to delivery.
