Health & Safety and Environment Advisor

HSE Advisor

Salary: £45k to £50k + Bens

You will be responsible for advising and supporting project teams and suppliers on all aspects of Health & Safety, ensuring statutory compliance, and championing a culture of zero harm across site operations. You will also support construction teams through all stages of delivery, providing expert guidance, undertaking inspections, and driving continuous improvement in health, safety and wellbeing practices.

• Minimum of 3+ years working on construction / infrastructure projects
• Relevant degree, NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent H&S qualification (NVQ Level 3+)
• Membership of TechIOSH or GradIOSH (or working towards)
• Strong experience in Health & Safety within civil engineering, including demolition and ground engineering on major projects
• Skilled in preparing inspection and audit reports
• Experience conducting high-standard incident investigations, including Root Cause Analysis
• Strong IT skills including MS Office 365 and digital reporting systems
• Wide-ranging construction and rail project experience
• Proven ability to lead and influence teams in a functional or client-based capacity
