Electrical Senior Authorised Person

Location: North London

Astute's Power team are looking to recruit an Electrical Senior Authorised Person on a long-term contract for a water treatment project in North London.

Key skills

Support surveys of existing electrical installations, switch rooms, panels, distribution boards, cable routes and temporary power requirements, project construction and commissioning activities.
Prepare and carry out switching schedules.
Manage isolations, lock-off, earthing and safety documentation.
Issue and cancel electrical safety documents where authorised.
Support site teams with electrical safety advice.
Review electrical RAMS where required.
Assist with testing, commissioning and energisation activities.
Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors and Thames Water operations.
Support temporary power and construction electrical supplies where needed.
Maintain clear records for surveys, switching, isolations and permits.
Must hold previous Electrical HV/LV SAP works within water and power environments.
Must hold experience with switching, isolations and electrical permits.
Must hold an ECS Card & SMSTS
EUSR Water Card / Thames Water Passport (desirable)
