Are you an experienced marine infrastructure professional looking to take ownership of a major international port development project from concept through to construction and operation?
This is a rare opportunity to join a privately funded international development consortium delivering a large-scale energy and logistics hub in Chile. The project includes the development of significant marine infrastructure, ranging from a heavy-duty construction jetty through to a deep-water Panamax-capable terminal supporting bulk commodities, containerised exports, bunkering and vessel services.
Reporting directly to the Project Director and Board, you will lead all marine-related project activities across development, permitting, design, procurement and construction, working with stakeholders across the UK, Chile and internationally.
The Role- Lead the development and delivery of major marine infrastructure projects
- Manage marine design consultants, surveys and technical studies
- Develop construction, procurement and delivery strategies
- Oversee project budgets, schedules and commercial performance
- Support permitting and regulatory approval activities
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, authorities and key stakeholders
- Provide technical oversight during procurement and construction phases
- Travel regularly to Chile and project locations as required
- Strong background in marine infrastructure, ports or maritime engineering
- Experience managing projects through design and construction phases
- Knowledge of procurement, contract strategy and project delivery
- Comfortable operating in a small, dynamic project team
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
- Port, jetty, terminal or maritime infrastructure projects
- Marine design consultancy or asset owner environment
- Large-scale industrial, energy or logistics developments
- International project delivery and contractor management
