A leading independent Transport Planning consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Transport Planner to join its growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's most respected transport planning consultancies, working on a wide variety of residential, mixed-use, commercial, education and strategic development projects across London and the South East. The business has an excellent reputation within the development planning sector and continues to secure major commissions from national house builders, developers, land promoters and public sector clients.

Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, they are looking to strengthen the London office with an experienced Senior Transport Planner.

You will be responsible for managing transport planning projects from inception through to planning submission, working closely with clients, local authorities, architects and multidisciplinary consultant teams.

• Preparing Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
• Producing Travel Plans and supporting planning applications
• Undertaking site appraisals and development feasibility studies
• Managing project programmes, budgets and deliverables
• Client liaison and stakeholder engagement
• Reviewing and interpreting transport data
• Coordinating junior team members and supporting their development
• Working alongside developers, architects and planning consultants on major development projects

• Degree qualified in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography or a related discipline
• Previous consultancy experience within transport planning
• Strong understanding of development planning and the planning process
• Experience producing Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Experience using TRICS and other industry-standard software
• Ability to manage projects and communicate directly with clients

• Lin Sig, ARCADY and PICADY experience
• TPP qualified or working towards TPP
• Experience mentoring junior planners
• Development planning consultancy background

  60,000 depending on experience
