HSE Lead

Location: South East London

On-Site International are looking for a HSE Lead for a project in Linz, Austria starting Mid July. Applicants must have a passport that allows them to work in Austria- UK passports no longer act as a valid work permit in the EU - UK passport holding applicants must have a right to work VISA for Austria . Rate: €48/hour Duties:
Act as the senior site-based EHS lead for construction, installation, commissioning and/or operational works. Lead implementation of the project EHS plan and ensure alignment with client standards, Austrian legislation and company procedures. Carry out regular site inspections, safety walks, audits and behavioral observations; identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are closed out promptly. Review and approve RAMS, permits to work, lift plans, temporary works documentation, contractor safety plans and task-specific risk assessments.

Manage high-risk activities including work at height, lifting operations, confined spaces, hot works, excavation and plant/pedestrian segregation. Lead incident, near-miss and hazardous-condition reporting, investigation, root-cause analysis and corrective-action tracking. Coordinate subcontractor EHS performance, inductions, toolbox talks, daily briefings and safety leadership meetings. Maintain EHS records, dashboards, KPI reporting, training matrices and evidence required for client audits. Support emergency-response planning, drills and site welfare arrangements.

Liaise professionally with the client, principal contractor, local authorities in English.

Monday - Friday 7am-5pm Potential of Saturdays Duration:
