Acoustics Engineer​/Senior Acoustics Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an Acoustic Engineer or Senior Acoustic Engineer with a focus on building acoustics to join our London team.

As part of the team, your day-to-day work will be varied and engaging.

• Collaborate within multi-disciplinary project teams to develop innovative design solutions.
• Lead small to medium-sized projects from inception through to completion and handover.
• Undertake acoustic surveys and measurements in various environments using the best available tools and techniques.
• Carry out modelling, calculations and analysis using in-house and commercial software to inform design decisions.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and wider project teams, contributing confidently to discussions and design development.
• Produce clear, practical advice through written reports, sketches, presentations, audio demos and interactive media.
• Contribute to a culture of creativity and innovation, helping to improve acoustic quality across projects.

• Experience in acoustic engineering with a portfolio of building acoustic-focused projects.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree related to Acoustic Engineering.
• Degree in another discipline considered if complemented by an IOA Diploma.
• Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
