An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Air Quality professional to join a highly regarded independent environmental consultancy and play a key role in the growth of its Bristol team.
This position would suit either an experienced Principal Consultant looking for a fresh challenge, or a Senior Consultant ready to step into a leadership role with greater responsibility and influence.

You’ll work alongside experienced air quality professionals on a diverse portfolio of projects while developing your technical leadership, client management and commercial skills.
The business is growing, busy and actively investing in the development of new service areas, including climate change and greenhouse gas assessment.
The RoleYou will take responsibility for delivering and managing a wide range of air quality and climate-related projects, including:
- Air Quality Assessments
- Greenhouse Gas Assessments
- Climate Change Assessments
- Odour Assessments
- Construction Dust Assessments
- Road Traffic Emissions Modelling
You will also:
- Lead and mentor junior consultants
- Manage projects from proposal through to delivery
- Undertake and review technical modelling using ADMS
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Support business development activities
- Contribute to technical quality assurance and project delivery
Projects range from straightforward planning applications through to large-scale and technically complex development and infrastructure schemes across the UK.
About YouApplicants are likely to possess:
- At least five years’ experience within UK air quality consultancy
- Strong dispersion modelling experience using ADMS
- Experience delivering air quality, greenhouse gas, dust and odour assessments
- Strong report writing and technical review skills
- Project management experience
- Experience managing client relationships
- A desire to contribute to team growth and business development
- Previous line management experience would be advantageous, although strong Senior Consultants looking to take the next step are encouraged to apply.
- Membership of IAQM, ISEP or a related professional body would also be beneficial.
