Water Treatment Engineer

Location: London and surrounding areas

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus company van, credit card, phone, PPE, uniform, employee assistance programme, BUPA annual health assessment, life assurance and 25 days holiday excluding statutory days

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Water Treatment Engineer to join our growing team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in cooling tower analysis, water hygiene, and water treatment systems to work across a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial sites.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance, maintaining water quality standards, and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct cooling tower inspections, monitoring, and analysis.
  • Carry out routine water treatment testing and sampling.
  • Perform on-site water quality assessments and provide technical recommendations.
  • Monitor and maintain dosing equipment and treatment systems.
  • Complete Legionella control tasks in accordance with current regulations and industry best practices.
  • Liaise professionally with clients and provide technical support where required.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Water Treatment Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong background in cooling tower analysis and management.
  • Sound knowledge of water treatment principles, water hygiene, and Legionella control.
  • Experience carrying out water sampling, testing, and monitoring activities.
  • Good understanding of relevant industry guidelines and legislation.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
