Senior Highways Engineer

Join a growing highways team delivering land development schemes. Ideal for established Senior Engineers or Engineers seeking to step up towards Senior Engineering positions.

We are seeking a Senior Highways Engineer to join our growing civil engineering and transport planning team.

You will support the delivery of a variety of UK land development and infrastructure projects, with a focus on Section 38 and 278 highways design, and gain exposure across multidisciplinary civil engineering projects.

Assist in the design of highways schemes including Section 38 and Section 278 works.

Prepare technical drawings and models using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

Support the preparation of reports, calculations, and specifications.

Collaborate with drainage and infrastructure teams to deliver integrated design solutions.

Contribute to planning submissions, technical approvals, and project delivery.

Work under mentorship, developing technical, project management, and consultancy skills.

Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).

Experience with Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

Some exposure to UK development or infrastructure schemes is desirable.

Strong interest in highways design within the land development sector.

Eagerness to learn, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Working towards or interested in pursuing Chartered Engineer (CEng/IEng) status.
