Revit Technician – Infrastructure & Mission-Critical Projects
Location:
London – Office-based, 5 days per week.
Hourly Rate: £35–£39 per hour.
Contract:
6‑month, Outside IR35.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Revit Technician to support the delivery of major infrastructure, building structures and mission‑critical projects across the UK. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing coordinated BIM models, managing technical information and supporting multidisciplinary project teams throughout the design and construction process. The successful candidate will play a key role in digital project delivery, working closely with engineers, designers and site teams to ensure accurate, coordinated and construction‑ready information is produced across complex developments.
Responsibilities- Developing and maintaining coordinated 3D models using Revit and BIM technologies.
- Producing technical drawings, layouts, sections and construction information.
- Supporting BIM coordination across multidisciplinary project teams.
- Undertaking clash detection and model reviews using Navisworks.
- Working with survey information, point clouds and site data to maintain model accuracy.
- Coordinating underground services, drainage, utilities and structural elements.
- Managing model updates throughout design and construction stages.
- Supporting BIM workflows and digital delivery processes.
- Ensuring project information is coordinated, accurate and issued in line with programme requirements.
- Contributing to the successful delivery of major infrastructure, industrial and mission‑critical developments.
- Experience working as a Digital Engineer, BIM Coordinator, BIM Technician or Revit Technician.
- Strong Revit modelling capability.
- Experience using Navisworks for coordination and clash detection.
- Understanding of BIM processes and information management principles.
- Experience supporting civil, structural, infrastructure or construction projects.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical information.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
- Civil 3D exposure.
- Utilities, drainage or underground services coordination.
- Point cloud integration and survey data workflows.
- Data centre, infrastructure, industrial or large‑scale construction projects.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 BIM standards.
- Outside IR35 contract opportunity.
