Their culture is relaxed, creative, and quality focused, with a new flexible office space to support agile working. Projects are varied and often contain unusual or challenging elements. Projects include residential blocks and major masterplans, workplace refurbishment, and major mixed-use developments, labs and pharma facilities.

Now with a team of 45 engineers and consultants, they have identified significant growth opportunities in their MEP design team. Starting with the growth of their electrical team, with a Junior Electrical Design Engineer opportunity.

Your new role

As a junior engineer you will assist with the design and supervision of a variety of interesting projects. Carrying out detailed design where required, including the design of electrical systems in buildings, including power, lighting, fire alarms, security systems, data installations. You will also undertake surveys and assist more senior members of staff with larger-scale projects. This is an excellent development opportunity, as you will have constant contact time with experienced electrical design specialists.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a minimum of 12 months experience within the building services space, ideally within the consultancy environment. You will need to be confident and have great communication skills to coordinate with your team, as well as develop client relations where possible. Ideally you will have experience using AutoCAD, MEP Revit, Amtech, Dialux etc.
