Section Engineer

PSR Solutions is recruiting for a Section Engineer to work on projects in London, with offices located in East and West London. Below is more information about the role.

As a Section Engineer you will support the successful delivery of projects from site level, ensuring that works are completed safely, efficiently, and on programme. The role involves close coordination with site teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders, with a strong focus on self‑delivery operations.

• Managing day‑to‑day engineering activities on site
• Supporting the delivery of water and utilities infrastructure projects
• Coordinating self‑delivery works and site operations
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
• Producing and reviewing technical documentation including RAMS and ITPs
• Carrying out setting out, surveying and quality assurance checks
• Monitoring progress against programme and reporting updates to management
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders
• Assisting with planning and problem‑solving on site

• Proven experience working as a Section Engineer within civil engineering
• Previous water sector/project exposure is essential
• Strong self‑delivery experience is required
• Experience working on utilities, infrastructure or heavy civils projects
• Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Valid CSCS card
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced project environments
