Maintenance Engineer

Up to £55,000 Milton Keynes Days and Nights Rotation (No Weekends) gap technical are proud to be representing this fantastic FMCG business in their search for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work at their facility in Milton Keynes. Role responsibilities Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance on production equipment. Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime. Fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery.

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Completing planned preventative maintenance schedules. Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with food manufacturing standards. Working collaboratively with production and engineering teams. Person Specification Relevant Electrical or Mechanical qualifications (NVQ level 3 or equivalent). Previous experience within food manufacturing or FMCG environment preferred. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Experience with conveyors, packaging machinery, motors, sensors, and control systems. Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment. Knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene standards.
