Location: Greater London

We are looking for a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in London. The team is small and specialist, focusing on learning from each other and delivering innovative geotechnical solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Produce professional and technically competent reports and liaise with specialists and clients.
  • Prepare ground models and design parameters.
  • Analyse slopes, walls, foundations and other geotechnical structures.
  • Provide support in all aspects of project delivery, including client liaison and coordination with colleagues from other disciplines.
  • Contribute to the implementation of higher sustainability in project delivery.
  • Occasionally supervise ground investigation and construction on site.
  • Ensure all work complies with Curtins procedures and policies and meets the highest safety, health and environmental standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnics or a related subject; a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering is preferable but not essential.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of engineering geology and geotechnics and a determination to find solutions to problems.
  • Ability to produce written reports to the highest standard, presenting technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Effective collaboration with team members, clients and potential clients, with strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a willingness and ability to learn new tasks.
  • Health‑ and safety‑conscious and attentive to best practices.
  • Valid driving licence; travel to various sites is required.
