Senior Drainage & Hydraulic Design Engineer

• Act as a design engineer as part of a wider team to deliver complex infrastructure projects

• Proposal development

• Undertake Business Development initiatives

• Provide hands-on designs using FLOW and AutoCAD

• Work with others in the team and other disciplines

• Mentor and coach earlier career engineers within the team

• Support the sector and client leads across the business

• Work within an experienced team and be involved in exciting challenges with one of the leading environmental and engineering consultancies in the UK

Requirements

• A solid track record of delivering projects and working in the UK on highways and infrastructure projects
• Demonstrable knowledge of UK engineering guidance, including hydraulic design standard and processes
• Experience working on Hydraulic Feasibility Studies, Detailed Drainage Strategies, Flood Risk Assessments and Sc104 Detailed Design
• Good FLOW (or similar) and AUTOCAD skills
• Achieved or Working towards Chartership with Institute of Civil Engineers or similar
• Must have a full, current, driving licence valid in the UK
