About The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Mechanical Design Engineer roles within innovative engineering environments. Roles of this type could support the design, development and delivery of mechanical systems and components across diverse industries, working alongside cross-functional teams to translate concepts into robust, manufacturable solutions.
What You Would Do- Designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software
- Conducting feasibility studies and design analyses to support project requirements
- Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to ensure designs meet technical standards and compliance requirements
- Producing detailed technical drawings, specifications and design documentation
- Supporting the transition of designs from concept through to manufacturing
- Contributing to continuous improvement of design processes and standards
- Participating in design reviews and providing technical input to meet ISO 9001 and other relevant standards
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Proficiency with CAD software and mechanical design principles
- Experience working within engineering environments, ideally with exposure to manufacturing or product development
- Knowledge of technical standards, particularly ISO 9001, and ability to apply these in design work
- Strong technical communication skills and ability to produce clear design documentation
- Familiarity with design analysis tools and techniques
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality in all deliverables
