Engineer - Aviation Engineering

Join our Aviation Infrastructure team and play a key role in shaping the future of airports, from major commercial hubs to greenfield airports and military installations. You will contribute to airport engineering projects across the UK and Europe.

• Contribute to airport engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, vehicle service roads, aerodynamic ground lighting, signage installation, navigational aids, drainage improvements, utility relocation and protection, and pavement rehabilitation.
• Produce engineering calculations, design reports, project definition documents and construction plans.
• Contribute to works programmes and contract documentation, including technical specifications.
• Undertake on‑site asset condition inspections and produce reports to enable strategic capital‑project planning.
• Take ownership and demonstrate responsibility for delivery of assigned tasks aligned with project programmes and budgets.
• Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams (planners, architects, engineers and technicians) and attend client meetings to discuss designs.
• Self‑check deliverables and participate in design review processes, demonstrating commitment to quality assurance procedures.

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Solution‑oriented mindset, unafraid to challenge the status quo or suggest innovative ideas.
• Proactive attitude toward learning and professional development; readiness to take on new challenges and grow within the role.
• Experience in design, planning and construction support of civil engineering projects.
• Knowledge of civil aviation standards and recommended practices (ICAO, EASA, CAA, FAA, MAA) – desirable.
• Knowledge of DMRB or highway civil engineering design.
• Good knowledge/experience of AutoCAD, Civil3D, Avi Plan or similar – desirable but not essential.
