The RoleOur London office seeks a Senior/Associate Structural Engineer to play a pivotal role in our growing building engineering team. With a diverse portfolio ranging from international high rises to adaptive re‑use schemes, we offer exciting opportunities for professionals looking to expand their skills. You will work closely with the Structures’ Lead to manage projects and mentor junior team members, collaborating with other disciplines within our organization.
ResponsibilitiesInclude
- Leading design delivery by preparing, reviewing, and approving calculations, drawings, and other documentation.
- Managing a design team and providing guidance and mentoring.
- Delivering multiple small projects within budget and schedule.
- Communicating with clients, preparing proposals, and managing project finances.
As a key member of our Engineering team, you will strengthen our capabilities and support our teams.
Successful Applicants will have- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience, preferably in engineering consultancy or construction.
- MEng qualifications or higher.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent.
- Experience in high‑rise design and sustainable structural engineering.
- Familiarity with timber utilisation in modern structural design.
- Ability to work independently and lead small teams.
- Strong first principles knowledge in structural engineering.
- Proficiency in relevant design software and building standards.
- Good understanding of BIM project requirements.
