As an M&E Asset Management Consultant, you'll support the delivery of asset surveys and engineering assessments across a wide range of client sites. Working within our Asset Management team, you'll apply your knowledge of building services systems to collect, analyse and interpret asset data, helping clients make informed decisions on maintenance, compliance and lifecycle planning. Using digital survey tools and Power BI, you'll contribute to high-quality technical outputs while developing your expertise on increasingly complex projects.
Your Impact in this PositionYou'll play a key role in improving the performance, safety and longevity of building assets. From carrying out detailed M&E surveys to producing insightful technical reports, your work will help clients optimise investment, maintain compliance and plan for the future. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, build strong client relationships and contribute to projects that deliver real value across the built environment.
Technical Excellence- Conduct detailed surveys of mechanical and electrical building services, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection and lifts.
- Produce accurate technical reports, asset data and practical recommendations.
- Apply industry standards and compliance requirements to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Capture and manage asset information using digital survey tools and asset management software.
- Analyse data using Power BI and other digital platforms to support informed decision-making.
- Maintain accurate asset registers and lifecycle information.
- Support the successful delivery of asset management projects across multiple client sites.
- Contribute to maintenance planning, budget forecasting and asset replacement strategies.
- Progressively take ownership of more complex technical responsibilities.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, facilities teams and engineering colleagues.
- Deliver a professional, responsive service and communicate technical information clearly.
- Work collaboratively to ensure accurate, reliable project outcomes.
- Take ownership of your development and continuously build your technical expertise.
- Share knowledge with colleagues and support less experienced team members where appropriate.
- Champion safe working practices and maintain the standards required for security clearance.
Experience in asset management, building services engineering or facilities management, with knowledge of M&E building systems and compliance requirements. Experience using digital survey tools, asset management software and Power BI is desirable. You'll be IT proficient, analytical, self-motivated and able to produce high-quality technical reports. A full UK driving licence is required, along with the ability to obtain DBS and SC clearance.
This role offers flexible and hybrid working, alongside regular travel to client sites across the UK, including London, Leeds and other locations. Some overnight stays and occasional international travel will be required.
