An award-winning multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer to join its growing London team. This role is ideal for an experienced geotechnical design engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects, delivering technically challenging designs and working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

• Deliver geotechnical designs on a wide range of development and infrastructure projects.
• Design foundations, retaining walls, basements, slopes, earthworks and ground improvement solutions.
• Interpret ground investigation data and undertake geotechnical assessments.
• Produce detailed geotechnical design calculations and technical reports.
• Carry out analysis using industry-standard geotechnical software.
• Work closely with structural, civil and environmental teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Attend client meetings and provide technical advice throughout project delivery.
• Mentor and support junior engineers within the geotechnical team.

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Extensive geotechnical design experience within a UK consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards.
• Experience using software such as PLAXIS, Oasys, Geo Studio or similar.
• Excellent technical report writing and communication skills.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartership is desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain strong client relationships.
