As we continue to grow throughout Europe, we’re looking for an experienced MEP Lead with a strong mechanical or electrical background to join our first‑class team in.
This is a unique chance to work on some of Europe’s most innovative data centre projects, supporting the delivery of complex mechanical and electrical systems that underpin mission‑critical operations.
You’ll play a pivotal role in coordinating MEP design, installation, testing and commissioning, ensuring quality, safety and performance standards are achieved throughout.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all MEP activities on‑site.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of MEP packages.
- Review technical designs, method statements and submittals to ensure compliance with client specifications and data centre standards.
- Monitor progress, manage risks and drive issue resolution to maintain schedule and cost performance.
- Oversee installation quality and ensure robust testing, commissioning and handover processes.
- Act as the main MEP point of contact with the client, project management team and key stakeholders.
- Foster a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to MiCiM and local HSE requirements.
- Strong mechanical or electrical engineering background with hands‑on experience in large‑scale MEP delivery.
- Proven track record as an MEP Lead or Senior MEP Manager on data centres, high‑tech, pharmaceutical or other mission‑critical projects.
- Excellent understanding of cooling technologies and mechanical systems typical of hyperscale or colocation data centres.
- Able to manage complex interfaces between trades and drive performance in fast‑paced environments.
- Strong communicator with the confidence to lead meetings, engage stakeholders and represent MiCiM professionally.
- Willingness to work on‑site across Europe; previous international project experience is an advantage.
- Competitive compensation: £130,000–£150,000, with performance‑based bonuses.
