We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our London-based team, supporting the successful delivery of major water infrastructure projects across Thames Water and Southern Water frameworks.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer with a strong background in the UK water sector who is looking to play a key role from the earliest stages of project development through to detailed design.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be involved from the pre-construction (pre-con) phase, helping to develop technical solutions and support project bids before progressing into detailed design once projects are awarded.

Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to the design and delivery of innovative mechanical solutions for water and wastewater treatment projects.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
• Previous experience working within the UK water industry (essential).
• Experience delivering mechanical designs for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of Thames Water and/or Southern Water standards is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
• A proactive approach with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
