Digital Fabrication & Mechatronics Engineer

We are seeking a versatile and hands‑on Digital Fabrication & Mechatronics Engineer to drive the design, automation, and R&D of custom manufacturing machinery; lead pioneering explorations into novel molding and foaming technologies; and foster knowledge transfer across our global innovation network.

• Fab Academy Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering (a Master's degree is preferred).
• 1+ years of hands‑on experience in applied research, Fab Labs, or digital fabrication facilities.
• Demonstrated involvement in hardware projects with a solid understanding of software architecture, programming abstraction, and object‑oriented programming.
• Proven ability to analyze complex automation problems and build tangible, working prototypes.
• Strong communicator with the ability to foster knowledge transfer and organize workshops.
• Previous experience as a Fab Academy instructor is considered a significant asset.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with international R&D teams.
• You thrive in an autonomous working style, and you independently drive R&D initiatives or navigate complex technical challenges.
