Salary: £35,000-£50,000 + Benefits

V7 Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Trainee Project Engineer to join a growing specialist within the life-safety smoke ventilation sector. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of installation and commissioning projects across the Southeast and occasionally UK-wide. The successful candidate will work closely with project management teams, clients and site engineers to ensure safe and compliant delivery.

- Strong engineering and electronics knowledge
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Smoke Ventilation, Controls, M&E, Duct fitting or HVAC industries
- Excellent planning, record-keeping and communication skills
- Ability to work from schematics, site plans and project drawings
- Ability to provide technical support to clients and colleagues
- Well organised, proactive and commercially aware
- Able to remain professional under pressure
- Full clean driving licence (minor points considered)
- CSCS card
