- Review and approve contract terms and manage commercial correspondence work with legal counsel where required.
- Attend site meetings for contractual discussions and advise on the project issues.
- Valuing variations and monitoring project performance.
- Interpret project documentation to identify opportunities and risks.
- Prepare monthly reports including JCR's (Job Costing Reports) and place orders in timely manner for procurement.
- Demonstrate expertise in dispute resolution and risk management.
- Assist in improving supply chain on conducting commercial audits.
- Produce cash flows and ensure correct notices are issued as per contracts in place.
- Collaborate with Project Managers/Engineers and place supplier/subcontractor orders.
- Prepare and submit client applications and reconcile reports.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in managing mechanical engineering projects, preferably in the energy or power industry.
- Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, practices, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes.
- Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
Demonstrates expertise in managing mechanical engineering projects within the energy or power industry, with a strong focus on contract management, risk assessment, and project performance monitoring. Proficient in project management software and committed to delivering high‑quality outcomes through effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
