We're supporting a well-respected building services consultancy in London as they look to grow their mechanical team with an experienced and independent Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.

They work across a broad range of sectors including education, residential, commercial, healthcare, blue light, heritage, and civic projects - typically delivering design on schemes valued between £500k and £1m.

This is a great opportunity for someone confident running their own projects from concept through to completion, while working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

· Leading mechanical design across all RIBA stages (2-5)

· Producing specifications, calculations, and layout drawings

· Managing project delivery and coordination with wider design teams

· Supporting junior engineers and representing the business in client meetings

· Conducting site surveys and technical assessments

What You'll Need:

· Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (or similar)

· Experience working in a consultancy environment

· Knowledge of UK building regs, CIBSE guidelines and RIBA stages

· Proficient in Hevacomp, AutoCAD, IES, and ideally Revit MEP

· Confident communicator, organised, and delivery-focused
