Senior Transport Planner
- Key Responsibilities:
Leading the preparation of Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and other supporting technical documents.
Managing and delivering development planning projects from inception through to completion.
Undertaking traffic and transport data analysis and interpreting findings to support planning applications.
Assessing the transport impacts of proposed developments and providing strategic transport advice.
Managing client relationships and attending meetings with stakeholders, local authorities, and design teams.
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
- Key Requirements:
A degree in Transport Planning or a related discipline.
Significant experience within Transport Planning, ideally in a consultancy environment.
Proven experience leading and managing projects independently.
Strong technical, analytical, and report writing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience liaising with clients, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams.
A proactive and commercially aware approach to project delivery.
