Engineering Services Manager

Experteer Overview As Engineering Services Manager you oversee compliant delivery of engineering services for a maintained listed building in London, aligning with JLL's methods and Playbook. You lead planning, maintenance, projects, and help-desk activities while ensuring health, safety and contractual compliance. You act as technical advisor on small works and support senior management to meet client and regulatory requirements. The role combines site leadership with governance, budgeting, and continuous improvement to deliver reliable building operations.

• Ensure contractual compliance and technical delivery of engineering services
• Lead Playbook compliance, reporting, and matrix-aligned governance
• Oversee Planned Preventive Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, Projects and Help Desk activities
• Provide technical advisory on small works/minor projects and governance
• Support Senior Engineering Management on HSE and contractual compliance
• Monitor training requirements and maintain compliance of engineering personnel
• Oversee safety, audits, and change management across site activities
• Coordinate IST Testing planning and documentation control (Service Now)
• Support critical environments governance and safety systems
• Prepare budget documentation for client approvals and manage personnel assignments
• Tasks Trade Qualified in an Engineering discipline
• HVAP/LVAP experience
• Minimum 5 years  experience in Critical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years  experience in lead or management role
• Desirable:
  Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or recognised equivalent
• Desirable: IOSH/NEBOSH
• Desirable:
  Authorised Person (High Voltage / Mechanical Systems / Confined Space)
