Section Engineer - Heathrow Airport Heathrow Airport Over £400 per day 45-Week Contract ? Inside or Outside IR35 A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Section Engineer to join a major reinforced concrete (RC) and groundworks package at Heathrow Airport. Working on a high-profile infrastructure project for a leading Tier 1 contractor, you'll play a key role in the delivery of link bridge foundations and structures within a challenging live airport environment.

The Role As Section Engineer, you will be responsible for the safe and successful delivery of RC and civils works, managing both self-delivery teams and subcontractors while ensuring quality, programme and safety objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities Oversee the delivery of reinforced concrete, groundworks and structural packages. Manage setting out and engineering control activities. Coordinate subcontractors and monitor progress on site. Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation. Support design coordination activities, including structural and cladding interfaces. Assist with planning, sequencing and resource management. Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Prepare and review RAMS, ITPs and other project documentation.

Provide technical guidance to site teams and junior engineers. Requirements Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Previous experience as a Section Engineer or a strong Site Engineer ready to step up. Proven background delivering RC structures, groundworks and major civils projects. Experience managing subcontractors and self-delivered works. Excellent technical, communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, temporary works and quality processes.

Experience on major infrastructure, aviation, rail or transport projects would be advantageous. Valid CSCS card. SMSTS or SSSTS preferred. What's on Offer? ?
