Role DescriptionThe Environmental Health Safety Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater London. This role involves assessing environmental and occupational health risks, conducting site visits, and performing environmental impact assessments for client operations. The consultant will develop reports and recommendations to support regulatory compliance, sustainability initiatives, and improvement of safety practices. Day-to-day activities include analyzing data, preparing clear documentation, collaborating with client stakeholders, and advising on the implementation of environmental and safety management systems.
The role also requires staying current with relevant legislation, standards, and best practices, and supporting training or workshops as needed.
- Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Science to evaluate projects and interpret environmental data.
- Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Compliance and Environmental Consulting to guide clients on regulations, policies, and strategic environmental management.
- Candidates should possess strong Report Writing skills to prepare clear, accurate, and actionable documentation and recommendations.
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of UK and EU environmental and health & safety regulations, standards, and permitting processes.
- Experience conducting site audits, risk assessments, and stakeholder consultations in industrial or commercial settings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in an accessible way.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
