Civil Design Engineer - London

We are currently looking for a Civil Design Engineer with 2+ years' experience across highways and drainage design to join a well-established, award-winning and employee-owned consultancy in London.

The business has a strong reputation within the development sector, working closely with some of the UK's major developers to deliver civil infrastructure solutions across large-scale development projects.

The Role

You'll join a close-knit London team and work across development-led highways and drainage projects, gaining exposure from early feasibility and planning through to detailed design and delivery.

Design highways, roads and drainage infrastructure for large residential and mixed-use developments.
Produce detailed design information and technical drawings for development schemes.
Work alongside developers, architects, planners and wider multidisciplinary design teams.
Support projects through the planning and technical approval process and into detailed design and delivery.
Take increasing responsibility for your own projects as your experience develops.
Work closely with experienced engineers in a supportive team environment.

What We're Looking For

2+ years' experience within civil engineering consultancy.
Experience in both highways and drainage design.
Experience working on development-led infrastructure projects.
Good working knowledge of relevant UK design standards and approval processes.

Experience with software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Micro Drainage/Info Drainage or similar.
A proactive approach with good communication skills and a genuine interest in developing your career.
