Senior / Principal Mechanical Engineer – Water & Infrastructure

London, Epsom, Peterborough or Cambridge**

Hybrid – 3 days office/site based

Join a leading engineering team delivering major UK water and infrastructure projects. We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong water-sector background who is ready to take technical ownership and lead complex multidisciplinary projects.

• Lead/coordinate Mechanical Engineering teams delivering water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Produce and review design reports, drawings, calculations and technical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary projects, supporting delivery, bids and client requirements.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to the development of the wider Mechanical Engineering team.

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent with Chartered/ Incorporated status.
• Proven Mechanical Engineering design experience within the Water sector is essential.
• Strong knowledge of pumps, blowers, screens, chemical dosing systems and UK design standards.
• Good understanding of CDM/DSEAR, with strong communication and leadership skills.
