Senior​/Principal Transport Planner

I'm currently working with a growing independent transport planning consultancy in London that is looking to appoint a Senior or Principal Transport Planner to support the continued expansion of its development planning team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transport planner looking to take ownership of projects, develop client relationships, and play a key role in delivering a wide variety of development schemes across London and the South East.

The Role You will be responsible for managing and delivering transport planning projects from initial feasibility through to planning consent, working on residential, commercial, mixed-use, industrial, education and regeneration developments.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing and reviewing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans Supporting planning applications for a range of development projects

Managing project delivery and client relationships

Liaising with local authorities, developers and multidisciplinary project teams

Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff

Supporting business development and proposal preparation

Attending client meetings and stakeholder consultations About You We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

Experience with in a transport planning consultancy environmentA strong background in development planning

Excellent report writing and technical skills

Experience producing Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and supporting documentsA good understanding of UK planning policy and transport guidance

Strong communication and client-facing skillsA relevant degree qualification

For Principal level applicants, experience leading projects, managing client relationships and contributing to business development activities would be advantageous. What's on Offer? Competitive salary package
