About the RoleHDR is in search of a dynamic, diverse, and talented Senior Transport Plannerto join our growing transport program in the United Kingdom (UK). Someone who is passionate about designing transport solutions that genuinely improve how people live, work, and travel? The position would support the development of transportation planning projects in the UK and supporting similar projects in the US, Canada and Middle East.
Primary Responsibilities In the role of Senior Transportation Planner, we'll count on you to:
Support project managers in the delivery of transportation projects in the UK and supporting similar projects in the Middle East, USA and Canada.
Collate and analyse project data and information
Work closely with junior staff and technicians on project development
Prepare deliverables including analyses and reports.
Support the development of project and fee proposals
Work directly with clients supporting their transport needs and establish relationships.
Work collaboratively with other teams in HDR, including those based in the UK, Middle East and North America.#LI-KK2
Qualifications
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degreeA minimum of 5 years' experience with transportation planning and urban design
Background in active travel, public transport, scheme development, master planning, developing strategies, studies and appraisals, and development control including preparing Transport Assessments and Travel Plans.
Possess excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills
