As a Senior Sustainability Consultant, you will lead the delivery of sustainability certification and consultancy services across a diverse portfolio of projects. Taking ownership of BREEAM, WELL and Home Quality Mark (HQM) assessments from initial client engagement through to certification, you will provide expert guidance that helps clients achieve industry‑leading sustainability outcomes. You will also undertake Whole Life Carbon Assessments (WLCA), supporting informed decision‑making and helping to reduce environmental impact across the built environment.

Working within a specialist sustainability team that forms part of a wider Building Services Group, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams, clients and technical experts to navigate evolving sustainability requirements, planning obligations and Net Zero commitments. The role combines technical excellence, project leadership, client advisory responsibilities and team development, offering the opportunity to make a tangible impact on projects ranging from individual developments to large‑scale national portfolios.

The team delivers a broad range of services, including BREEAM assessments, Whole Life Carbon Assessments, sustainability statements, embodied carbon studies, daylight analysis, overheating assessments and circular economy strategies for clients across both public and private sectors. Current projects span the full building lifecycle and include major national portfolios, creating opportunities to work on technically challenging and commercially significant commissions.

From day one, you will play a key role in delivering sustainability and certification projects that create measurable environmental and social value. During your first year, you will establish yourself as a trusted consultant, managing your own portfolio of projects, building strong client relationships and delivering high‑quality technical solutions across a varied client base.

As your experience within the team grows, you will have the opportunity to influence the future direction of sustainability services, identify new growth opportunities and contribute to the development of innovative service offerings.
