Test & Validation Integration Engineer

Would you like to join a growing product design and manufacturing business, looking for a Test & Validation Integration Engineer who can bridge the gap between physical products and smart IoT technology devices? This is a hands-on role covering the specification, sourcing, testing and validation of IoT devices and sensors, making sure connected features work reliably before products reach the market.

Location:

Basildon, Essex. However, excellent commute from London Fenchurch, Liverpool street, Stratford, etc Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 (DoE - More junior people very much considered!) plus benefits package. Working arrangement: hybrid, 2 to 3 days in the office per week.

• Specify, source and procure off-the-shelf IoT devices, sensors and hardware systems that meet product requirements
• Design and run DVT/PVT testing protocols to validate smart technologies under real-world conditions
• Troubleshoot integration issues across physical, electronic and data interfaces
• Act as the technical point of contact for hardware suppliers, test labs and manufacturing vendors
• Track integration milestones, timelines and risks using tools like Jira, Trello or Excel
• Maintain accurate validation logs, schematics and component specification sheets
