Position: Voice/Video Infrastructure Engineer (NICE/Zoom)
Infrastructure Engineer (NICE / Zoom) Quant is urgently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with Nice and Zoom experience to join our high profile client.

Our client is a well known broker in the equities space. They are currently building a greenfield trading platform based in equities.

You will be responsible for the technical design, planning, and implementation of advanced Zoom Cloud solutions (UCaaS), including the design and deployment of NICE CXOne Contact Centre.

As a Senior Engineer you will be part of a highly skilled team. Your responsibilities will include teaching, deploying, managing, and supporting all aspects of the Voice and Video infrastructure used across the globe.

The environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed with an open dress code. Key Areas of Responsibility:

Voice and Video Architecture Zoom cloud (UCaaS) telephony and videoNICE CXOne cloud Contact Centre Configuration, coordination, troubleshooting, and deployment of video conference systems

Ability to gather and troubleshoot issues using log files and network traces

Strong knowledge of SIP, including CUBE/SBCWork with other IT teams, including Security, Network, and Systems engineers, in planning and designing voice and video infrastructure and deployments

Participate in client discussions during all phases of development

Provide direction for Technology Operations teams on current and emerging technologies

Recommend technical standards that include future proposed standards requiring

Liaise with customers and vendors

Provide third-level support to IT teams

Provide necessary training and instructions to IT staff

Work with Service Now managing tickets, completing operational and project-based changes

Prepare capacity plans for network, bandwidth utilization, security, and growth or change

Prepare capacity plans for Expressways, PRI, bandwidth utilization, security, and growth or change

Assist business units in technology planning

Evaluate current and emerging technologies and introduce technical solutions that address business and technical issues

Contribute to the Technology Road Map planning

Participate as a team member or work package leader on projects involving all voice, video, and infrastructure changes or projects

Contribute to the development and assignment of project budgets

Contribute to the planning, installation, and upgrade of network and security platforms

Infrastructure Engineers MUST have:

Cisco CCIE (Collaboration).A strong understanding of LAN, WAN technologies, including QoS, DNS, DHCP, and firewall fundamentals, is required. Operational and troubleshooting experience with Cisco UCM, UCCx, and Expressway, including Web Ex support

Relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, or VMware VCP (preferred).Extensive experience of working in large-scale telecommunications environments, working with Cloud Telephony and Contact Centre.

Expert experience with Voice and Video platforms.

Experience with Zoom phone and video provisioning and UCaaS solutions.

Experience with NICE CXOne Contact Centre.

Experience with Service Now.

Familiarity with network design (Servers, Firewalls, Protocols, Topologies), TCP/IP protocol suite, ARP, routing, VRF, switching, spanning-tree, network security, QoS, DHCP, DNS, etc., including knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, IGRP, RIP, and Multicast.

Understanding of Telephony and Video protocols is mandatory, including voice and video signalling, audio codecs, SIP, PRI/BRI, multicast.
